June 2024 Harvard Forest - Harvard Forest Data Jam Symposium
As a member of the O’Hara Nature Center research group, I was lucky enough to attend the Harvard Forest Data Jam Symposium this June. Studies including tree coring projects and Beech leaf disease projects were featured. Photographing the event and the grounds we stayed on was ethereal and sobering to the current climate crisis. As explained by our research, nematodes are the culprits sucking the chlorophyll, leaving Beech leaves banded and unable to photosynthesize. The relationship between the forest and the scientists who study it is often best described through photos, not words.

March 29th, 2025 Huron John & Freak Slug Concert - The Red Room at Cafe 939 for WTBU
As a promo photographer at WTBU (Boston University’s radio station), I have the opportunity to attend many concerts with a photography pass. Low lighting and limited shooting space can pose challenges — there is certainly an art to adaptation.

Boston University Hillel 2024-2025 - Photography Internship
Boston University Hillel is a space where I can practice skills for my career journey. From photography to understanding work in a nonprofit setting, the COM photography internship connected Jewish culture with photography, effectively building community with students across campus. I worked closely with other communications interns at Hillel and was responsible for attending events throughout the week, such as holiday memorials, lectures, or dog petting events, and uploading to a shared drive within the day.

July 2023: Iceland FILM - National Geographic Student Travel
Taking a 30-year-old Nikon One Touch film camera into an ice cave and dropping it is an adventure if anything! There seems to be a satisfying connection between the agelessness of film and the agelessness of the mountain giants and flowing waterfalls that line the Icelandic landscape. Capturing the times I spent with other high school students with similar passions through film is essential
July 2023: Iceland - National Geographic Student Travel
Iceland has breathtaking scenery, with beautiful mountains and mesmerizing glaciers. Summer landscapes lit up by the midnight sun are a unique lighting experience for photography. The contrast between blue glacial lagoons and volcanic terrain creates a surreal backdrop that may soon be lost due to the increasing impacts of climate change in vulnerable places.

July 2022: Yellowstone - Putney Student Travel
Throughout the Putney Student Travel adventure, seeing wildlife and the environment that wildlife dwells in was truly inspiring. Getting to the park before other visitors was a great accomplishment which improved the originality of my exposures. The frigid morning air was difficult to tolerate at times, but the captivating views were always worthwhile and resulted in great pictures.
